Sunflower is a truly family run business – Husband and wife Mark and Jane and daughter Lucy all work in the shop. Even youngest daughter Sophie gets involved on event days and holidays.
Sunflower…At Home is a collection of homeware, gifts and craft materials personally selected for you from the very best from our ranges. All have been tried and tested with our customers and include well known brands such as Cath Kidston ceramics and customer favourites, including Walton and Co Yorkshire textiles and Moorland Pottery. We also showcase local (that’s local to us) talent with individual items from cottage industries, recent graduates and “lifestyle changers” to give a unique choice.
We had a chat about our own particular favourite item of the moment. Mark likes the Moorland mugs and when pushed for one chose “UP ‘ANLEY DUCK” – a Potteries special. Jane loves the chintz topped cup cake (she gave Moorland the idea for the range!), Lucy’s choice is the jumper wearing tutu fairy and Sophie likes buttons (gingham stacker pots).
